It’s another beautiful day here at the Universal Orlando Resort. Despite finding large crowds entering through security this morning, it was surprisingly quiet at the parks.
The crowds at security were very deceiving. We prepared for the worst, but it was really quiet once inside.
The crowd this morning is great. We love days like this. When Early Park Admission is at Islands of Adventure and not Universal Studios Florida, the parks are still very quiet in the morning.
It’s almost impossible to resist the urge to grab an ice cream when Florean Fortescue Glacier has such a short line on such a hot day.
Even though the crowd is really small, there is always a very long queue for Ollivander’s Wand Shop.
No queue for ET Adventure? You know we’re taking a break to ride. It’s also my lucky day. ET got my name right!
There’s paint around the old Barney Shop in KidZone. We think it will reopen because the Shrek and Donkey meet and greet each other.
We hope the food lines will stay short all day. It’s been a long time since we were able to walk into Fast Food Boulevard and grab a Krusty Burger.
This metal sign is now available in the Tribute Store. We loved all the merchandise this summer.
It’s time to go to the islands of adventure.
A 10 minute wait for the High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride and few people at Seuss Landing? It looks like a dream.
This freshly painted trail behind Green Eggs and Ham looks pretty good.
Short food queues at this park too. We will savor these moments. With a holiday weekend ahead of us, we expect the worst.
It’s the middle of the day and there’s only a 10 minute wait for the Hogwarts Express. It’s too good to be true.
Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure was still posted as a 90-minute wait, despite low attendance. If you’re visiting soon, just know that the best way to navigate the queue is to bypass the chains, not jump over or under.
After buying a Game Play Pass to get the new Jurassic World plush, we still had a few games to play. After stopping to play a quick game, we were shocked to win a giant Indominus Rex. Now I have to wear it for the rest of the day.
Big rush to get on the water rides today. It’s hot, so it’s no surprise.
More renovations appear to be taking place at Toon Lagoon in front of the Comic Strip Cafe.
What a great day to be in the parks!
Thank you for joining us today as we toured Universal Orlando Resort. Stay tuned for more updates, and we’ll see you next time!
