Crew members continue to work on details for the Xandarian Nova Corps spacecraft outside of Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT.
We recently saw cables run up to the spacecraft, possibly for lights that will illuminate the screen at night.
A ladder was leaning against the ship’s support but we didn’t see any crew at the time.
Any final wiring should be hidden in the bracket or spacecraft.
At the time we also noticed paperwork on one wing of the ship and the area smelled strongly of paint.
When we came back later, the crew members were in a cherry picker getting ready to paint sections of the ship.
New green wiring was also being run to the ship.
The crew members were hoisted up to the upper wing.
They used paint to add distressed details.
With the detail work, the ship will look more like space flight and maybe even battles.
The distress is visible on some of the other fenders. The black and brown paint gives it a somewhat dirty and rusty look.
On our next visit, the ladder and wiring were missing from the front of the ship.
A painter worked on the other side of the upper wing.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind is set to open Memorial Day weekend. Check out a recent look inside the charging station.
