Danville High School seniors can enter t-shirt design contest

DANVILLE Ky. (FOX 56) — High school students have missed many important moments because of the pandemic, but a local high school is ensuring a unique tradition continues.

This is called the grad project. For some of these students, it may even help them find a new passion to pursue t-shirt design. All seniors can submit their design ideas.

Mary Beth Steger – District Director of Youth Services says you don’t have to be affiliated with high school to appreciate the opportunity for these children struggling with the pandemic.

Senior class events are some of the most memorable moments students take with them. She said the students were having fun with the design process.

“Last year a big theme was quarantine. It kind of always stuck with the masks and stuff. It had 2022 and the zero had a big mask on it, so it’s always kind of stuck. Random things that take place throughout the year, they will be added to this design,” Steger said.

Design ideas must be submitted by February 25. The winner will receive a $25 Amazon gift card.
